崔 雄，江苏南通人。

南京艺术学院油画专业毕业、艺术硕士。曾任南京艺术学院党委副书记、副院长。现为南京艺术学院教授、硕士研究生导师；南京传媒学院常务副校长。

Cui Xiong, A native of Nantong, Jiangsu Province. 

He graduated from Nanjing University of the Arts with the major of oil painting as MFA. He served as the Deputy Secretary of CPC and the Vice-president of Nanjing University of the Arts. Now he is a professor and graduate teacher of Nanjing University of the Arts and the Managing Vice-president of Communication University of China, Nanjing.

崔雄多年躬耕艺术学院，了解艺术潮流的潮涨潮落，在艺术创作上是一个冷静的思索者和观察者。多年来，左右他画笔的不是纷纷扰扰的喧嚣，而是江南烟水赋予他的独特精神气质。他对自己的精神特质有着清醒的把握，所以，在他的创作中完全将江南的乡土风情放到了艺术主体的位置.上。面对架上绘画，他在创作时不仅仅是为自然造像，而是将思想和图式意象地表达在画布上，是艺术家内心风景的一个镜像而已，更是艺术家自我价值实现的过程。
